Manufacturer Warranties

Trane Equipment

1 year labor warranty backed by Trane on most products. 2 year labor warranties are included for full systems that include XR17, XV18, or XV20 air conditioners. This covers: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, evaporator coils, thermostats, electronic air cleaners, and humidifiers (purchased as part of a system).

The 1 or 2 year labor warranty DOES NOT cover non-Trane equipment including but not limited to condensate pumps, thermostat wire, condensate drains, PVC, electrical wiring, plumbing etc..

Trane parts warranties require all products to be registered with Trane. In general, warranties on registered air conditioners and heat pumps are 10 years on most parts and 12 years on multi-stage compressors.

Warranties on registered furnaces are either 5 years or 10 years depending on model and lifetime on the heat exchanger.

Equipment MUST be registered within 60 days of purchase. DALCO will make its best efforts to register the product; however, registration is the responsibility of the customer. As such, DALCO assumes no responsibility for product that is not registered.

Warranties on other installed equipment (unless noted)

1 year on parts and labor.

5 years on humidifier parts excluding the pad.

DALCO Warranty

One year on all parts and labor

Covers equipment we install.

Covers our workmanship.

DALCO will not warrant parts and equipment it did not replace or install.

In the case of a furnace and air conditioner installation we will come out after one year and perform a routine preventative maintenance on the units(s) to make sure they are working properly.

ALL Warranties are deemed void if the equipment is not maintained as required by the manufacturer. Maintenance includes but is not limited to: filter changes, cleaning, lubricating, clearing condensate pumps and lines, etc..

Rebates

Xcel Energy – through the end of 2020, Xcel has rebates for furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, evaporative coolers, and water heaters. Rebates vary in amount. Please see our website for more detail. DALCO will prepare all paperwork and submit for the customer. Payments will be made directly to the customer unless otherwise committed to in the proposal and specific on the invoice.

Xcel Energy air conditioner rebates require an ambient temperature of at least 67 degrees for testing and completion of their submittal. If a system is installed when it is below 67 degrees, we will be unable to prepare the paperwork. Xcel allows us to complete this paperwork and submit when the temperatures are adequate which may be 6 months or more after the installation. We will not complete any tests between October and March.
